Wire mesh rings
Wire mesh rings are made from continuous wire. The main advantage is that the wire mesh can move in all three directions.

Graphite rings
This type of seal has many different applications where special solutions at high temperatures and pressures are needed. Graphite rings are made from graphite tape wound and pressed to achieve a specific density of 1.4 to 1.8 depending on application.
